A cache is, simply put, a hidden (usually underground) weapons or logistics storage place. Caching materials – be it food, ammo or tools – to access them in times of need (shortage, WROL etc.) is something that has been done over the ages in many forms and can give you an important advantage in times of need. YouTube user USNERDOC has made two nice videos on how to construct such a cache with a minimum of materials and what to put into them (in this case ammo). As USNERDOC digs up the cache after 6 months of testing it, he also shows what modification he will use for the next version of his cache. All in all an interesting way of storing important items.
